Jizo with Blue Bird

Jizo is a well loved Japanese Bodhisattva and represents ‘he who encompasses the Earth’ and is one who stays on Earth until all being are saved.

The Blue Bird f happiness represents prosperity, hearth and home, good health, new births and the renewal of springtime.

In China he is known as Dizang.

The Blue Bird of Happiness statue represents prosperity, hearth and home; Good health, new births and the renewal of springtime. It sits on the shoulder of Jizo, the Japanese Buddha of compasion and protection.
